Designing a K-12 Religious Education program

If you were tasked with producing a primary level, secondary, or even a K–12 Religious Education program, how might you go about it? Every school has its own distinct culture and within Religious Education classes, there exists a range of teaching styles, denominational distinctions and intended learning outcomes. CEP understands this. For over 100 years, we have survived because our school material covers the ABC’s.

  • They’re Academically rigorous. You want your students to engage with RE as seriously as any other subject. More so, in fact. So, whether your style is discussion-led learning or inquiry-based learning or the good old ‘chalk and talk’, or maybe a little of each, our materials can assist.
  • They’re Biblical. We start with the Bible and that is our highest authority. Everything is examined through the lens of the Bible’s narrative and ethics.
  • They’re Contemporary. In look, language and topic. Our materials are superior in presentation to just about any other textbook you could lay your hands on.
