This unit builds upon students’ understanding of Jesus of Nazareth as a historical figure.
It seeks to demonstrate to students that the Jesus they meet in the Bible was a real man, living in a real time and place. It provides a detailed portrait of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, and the implications of that life for us today. In doing so, Historical Jesus aims to reassure students that they can have confidence in the biblical record.
