This read-aloud picture book is beautifully interactive. The rhyming questions encourage children to respond with the answer. I love that this book links the story of Jesus birth with his death, resurrection and promised return. More than a Christmas story, this story of Jesus would be ideal in children’s ministry for using in Christmas or Easter lessons.

A great new Christmas picture book for young children connecting Christmas with Easter. The illustrations are beautiful, simple and uncluttered. The rhyming style is fun and the action suggestions for the mighty mighty king make the story interactive. A great picture book for young children to enjoy.

About the illustrator
Lisa Flanagan loves to see the story of Jesus told and has long held a passion for illustration, in particular creating images for children. Lisa lives in the beautiful Blue Mountains with her cheeky husband and their four little artists.
Penny Morrison lives on the Northern Beaches of Sydney with her husband and three creative kids. Penny is trained as an Early Childhood Teacher and loves teaching children about Jesus! When she isn’t teaching Scripture in schools (SRE), kids’ church or running a music group, Penny squeezes in time for her other passion—writing picture books.
